Installation of bottom row:
Place the first Paragon block unit on the prepared base, along the wall alignment, and make sure the unit is level - front to back and side to side. Repeat this process until the bottom row is installed, having the front corners touching each other. The foundation of the wall is the most important aspects of building a retaining wall. It is critical the bottom row of the wall be level and accurate. Minimum embedment of base course should be at least 2 inches below the grade for every 1-foot of wall height, up to a maximum of 8 inches. |
